- Authoring my first book: Your Money, Your Power: 10 Ideas for Mindful Spending has certainly been an incredible life journey.
Sharing has been one of my passions as I learn and grow. This book led me to build a website of resources where others can expand and grow. I now call this part of my business - internet eco-business. TanaDean.com is focused on Abundant Lifestyles, Green Living and Healthy Bodies.
A background that includes experiences as an entrepreneur, resource manager, musician, photographer, and website designer has given me a varied group of experiences to draw from. I have been President of Women Business Owners of Southeastern Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI and am now a Board of Directors member of the Lighthouse Center in Whitmore Lake, a spiritual community built on Ahimsa (Living in Peace) and designed and maintain their website, LighthouseCenterInc.org.
It has been a life blessed with two spiritual teachers of great significance. First was my spiritual mother for 12 years before she transcended Chetana Catherine Florida who founded The Lighthouse Center.
Her teacher, Gurudev Chitrabhanuji, a renowned Jain monk, still travels to the US each year to teach at the Lighthouse Center. I have been blessed with spiritual guidance beyond my expectations and everyday I live the best spiritual life I can.
I've always loved business and see it as an opportunity to expand spiritually using my values which include living peacefully, healing our planet and enjoying life. My book expands on those experiences with the intent of helping others learn and grow by using their money and a powerful resource in creating a more peaceful, loving and healthy planet.
One of my greatest passions is spending time with my husband motorcycling. We are always planning trips and expanding our horizons with new experiences.
